For the sake of our health, drug policy must change in the UK

Further Ways to Influence Drug Policy

Conservative Party
You know their policy because we're still living in the failure of it, but the Conservative Drug Policy Reform Group are in favour of change. You can subscribe to emails and to receive their December 2021 report here:

Labour and Co-operative Societies

You can be a member of the Labour Party and Co-Operative Parties concurrently as I am.  I'm also a member of The Fabian Society, a Socialist Think Tank affiliated with The Labour Party. Both are improving greatly to include those of us who want to help but can't physically be places (online meetings and such).

Co-operative Party
If you're a member of the Co-operative Party you should have received an email inviting you to complete a Policy Consultation on Health and International Development. It's a blank canvas in the sense that the existing one is incredibly sparse and by their own admission they haven't reviewed it for years.
Deadline: 19th June 2022

Labour Party
Although Keir Starmer fairly recently said that he had no plans to change direction of policy, there are MPs who hold different views and have also come out to support the Medical Cannabis Access Bill, which was raised by Jeff Smith.  There are a surprising number of ways that you can provide evidence to inform and influence policy though.
