FOREWORD

Cannabis is prescribed in various (if still pretty limited) forms in the UK. It must be taken as directed. There are vaporizer cartridges more like the ecig type, as well as capsules. As well as vaporizing my herb, I take my oil sublingually (under the tongue), where it's absorbed pretty quickly because of all the blood vessels you've got under there). It's absorbed pretty instantly and you lose less cannabinoids than you would by the edible route, as it doesn't need processing by your liver.

CANNABINOIDS

Below is a fairly commonly used temperature guide for vaporizing cannabis in order to activate particular cannabinoids.

Everyone is different so experiment with what works for you. Many people vaporize at higher temperatures later in the day, because as you can see from the chart, this is the sleepier end of the cannabinoids.

Higher temperatures are likely to give off more smell.

Although the chart below goes into breaking down individual cannabinoids and terpenes, here's a pretty useful explainer, courtesy of Cannigma
(click the link): https://cannigma.com/delivery/best-temperature-to-vape-cannabis/

This may help you learn what cannabinoids generally impact what issues (because we have cannabinoid receptors)

TERPENES

And remember, it's not just about your Cannabinoids. If you use https://medbud.wiki/
to compare available medications (strains, producers etc.), you can also learn what genetics and terpenes work best for you too. We're learning all the time about the synergistic benefits these components offer.

FINAL THOUGHTS

As the saying goes, this Guide is a rule of thumb. We all respond differently to the vast array of cannabis strains, cannabinoids and terpenes, and in my experience, particularly when you've several different health issues, it can even be difficult to identify what you're trying to medicate. Some people benefit from watching videos of strain reviews for instance, and whilst I'm not knocking this, as we all learn, prioritise and discard information differently too, I don't see them as an indicator of how they'll affect me. For most people, severity of symptoms will likely vary too, so maybe don't be too rigid in how you approach them.
